Integrated Security, Safety, and Control Systems

Safety Solutions

We design, supply, and install complete systems that protect people, property, and operations. Our team delivers site security solutions such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm setups tailored to each facility’s layout and needs. We also implement process control systems that help manage industrial operations efficiently and safely, integrating sensors, alarms, and automation to monitor performance and detect issues in real time. Our safety systems, including fire alarm systems, are carefully planned to meet code requirements and ensure fast, coordinated emergency response. From planning through installation, we provide reliable infrastructure that supports safer, more secure worksites.

Safety Systems

About Safety Systems

Safety systems are designed to prevent incidents, protect workers, and safeguard physical assets. These solutions include infrastructure, hardware, and embedded technologies that provide automated alerts, emergency responses, and real-time monitoring. In addition to supporting compliance and enforcing best practices, safety systems help reduce the risk of equipment damage, operational downtime, and financial loss due to theft, fire, or accidents. By strengthening site security and improving hazard detection, they ensure safer, more resilient project environments.

Our Safety Systems

At Advanced Comm our safety systems involve the design, supply, and installation of devices and equipment for site security systems, access control systems and process control systems. They are mainly connected and controlled through software, but the focus is on the hardware setup.

Site Security Systems: include surveillance cameras (CCTV), motion detectors, intrusion alarms, and monitoring equipment.

Safety Systems: include fire alarm systems, emergency stop switches, smoke/heat detectors, control panels, strobes, and sirens.

Access Control Systems: include key card readers, biometric scanners, entry turnstiles, magnetic locks, and control panels.

Safety Software

About Safety Software

Safety Software can simplify safety management, enhancing performance monitoring and regulatory compliance. It centralizes safety data, logs incident reporting, houses training records, and helps with compliance tracking.

Software Options

At Advanced Comm we provide advanced safety software, process control software, access management software, and video management software

Safety Software: used for hazard reporting, incident tracking, compliance documentation, and audit preparation. Can also include digital safety checklists or dashboards.

Process Control Software: interfaces that manage or monitor the operation of process control systems, sensors, PLCs (programmable logic controllers), actuators, and control panels used in industrial automation.

Access Management Software: admin portals used to assign and revoke access permissions, generate logs, and integrate with HR or security protocols.

Video Management Software (VMS): used with security systems to record, store, and review footage from multiple cameras.

Safety Plans

About Safety Plans

Safety plans are essential documents that outline risk management and mitigation strategies on project sites. They ensure safe working conditions, meet regulatory standards, and protect workers, equipment, and the public. Safety plans provide clear procedures for hazard response, emergency actions, and ongoing safety monitoring in complex environments like industrial facilities, mining operations, First Nations communities, as well as municipal projects.

These plans align contractors, engineers, and project owners around shared responsibilities to minimize delays, incidents, and costly shutdowns. A well-developed safety plan is crucial for safe, efficient, and compliant project execution.

Our Approach

When hired to create a safety plan, we take a hands-on, site-specific approach. First, we assess the project site to identify hazards, regulatory needs, and operational challenges. We then develop a detailed plan covering hazard controls, emergency procedures, roles, responsibilities, and monitoring protocols. Our plans comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations and industry standards. Beyond documentation, we help onboard and train staff, integrate necessary safety systems like alarms or signage, and provide digital tools for daily compliance. From planning to implementation, our safety plans are practical components of project success.
